How much a Dapitan City tour costs?

Posted on September 6, 2023September 9, 2023 by shaitalks

For me traveling is more than just a hobby; it’s a transformative experience that broadens your horizons, enriches your life, and leaves you with cherished memories. Whether you’re an adventure seeker, a culture enthusiast, or simply someone looking for an escape from the everyday routine like me, traveling offers something for everyone. In this blog post, allow me to share one of the many travels that I had that I appreciated the most.

I can say that this travel is beyond the worth, perhaps because the Travel Company is on promo.. :D. Invited by Travel Vlog Philippines, I embarked on a journey along with the rest of the tourists from the parts of Northern Mindanao to document the experience.

The call time is around 11PM; we were advised to meet at one of the malls in Cagayan de Oro City and at around 15 to 20 Minutes past eleven; aboard the bus; the exciting trip set forth.

The GFL Bus from Cagayan de Oro to Dapitan City and Vice Versa
Dapitan City Hall
Bay View fronting the City Hall
Rizal Landing Site

The magnificent City Hall of Dapitan City is our first stop. It was past 6AM when we arrived and the travel took approximately 6-7 hours including stops for personal necessities. The City Hall is a palace like structure and walking around makes you feel like a princess. As a fan of all things old and vintage, I deeply appreciate how the modern glass walls blended with the classic facade.

That view ..

After the picture taking and a little bit of exploring, we headed on for breakfast. We then proceed to Rizal Landing Site -a national tourist attraction in the Philippines. The city is well known being the place exile of the National Hero Jose Rizal. That is one of the reasons why the experience becomes something to cherish.

Dakak Park and Beach Resort is one of the destinations in this journey. It was a 5-star resort; “a hidden gem tucked in a lush paradise where the vast greenery meets the sand and sea” as their website describes it. Indeed, a breath-taking experience for me. It took me by surprise as we traveled up to the lush mountains and met the spectacular 750-metre white beach.

One of the things I am looking forward to during the travel is to relax and to have a sip of my comfort drink. 🙂 I made sure I won’t miss that, so we had Iced Coffee and savory fries from Tiki Bar.

For the Cost at this point 🙂 I’m sorry about that hehe..

Here’s the Summary:

  • Tour Package: Inclusive of Accommodation at GFL Suites, 2 Meals (Lunch and Dinner), Access at the Glorious Fantasy Land and Snow World, Dakak Park and Beach Resort Day Tour, Bus Transfers from Cagayan de Oro and Vice Versa – P1,500.00 only. (Super sulit na)
  • Own Expenses –Breakfast on the first day- Meal (P100.00) and I also bought bottled water (P25.00) and a cup of hot Coffee (P35.00) I am with my cousin during the trip so doubled the price.
  • Own Expenses –Coffee and Fries at Dakak Park and Resort during the day tour (own expense) – approximately (P600.00) good for 2 pax.
  • Own Expenses –Breakfast (PP80.00) and lunch (P100.00) on the second day (day of departure)
  • Total = P2,140.00 (approx. 1Person)

Just a tip: You bring your own 3-in-1 Coffee, water and snacks if you want to cut a bit on the expenses specially if you are travelling as a family or with kids.

I knew I cannot relay everything in a manner of sharing how I felt and experienced, but I made sure to take few clips that I will be uploading in my Social Media Pages soon. You may click my Social Media links below to follow. 🙂

I will end the first part of the blog here because I realized that I have a lot to share. So, I am dividing the whole experience into two parts.. The next one would be about my GFL (Fantasy Land) Experience and the Snow World .. see you .. 🙂

Xoxo – Shai
